Hand gilding is incredibly labor-intensive, and our artisan Alice brings unmatched focus and precision to every detail. We'll Color-Correct Your Dried Petals at Your Request.
When flowers are pressed, their colors often turn out more intense than the originals. White flowers typically become creamy, though some varieties stay white. Light pink petals deepen to a true pink, while pink roses might emerge as hot pink—the pattern holds for most shades. However, red flowers show more dramatic shifts: depending on the variety, they can turn purple or even a deep red-black, which might give the arrangement a heavier overall mood. We believe these intensified colors and the way they age in pressed flowers are absolutely beautiful in their own right. That said, we understand some brides may want color retouching on certain flowers or the entire piece, and we're happy to honor your preferences.

For example, Gorman Framing is the premier framing studio trusted by artists and art lovers in SoCal for over four decades. For each piece created in our atelier, we hold an in-depth design consultation with their expert frame designers—who bring more than a decade of experience—to find the perfect frame for your artwork. For the glazing, we exclusively use Museum Glass® and Optium Museum Acrylic® from Tru Vue. We source only the highest-quality papers, frames, and pressing and gilding materials—no shortcuts, out of profound respect for your wedding blooms and the memories they hold. We maintain strong relationships with vendors from SoCal, across the U.S., and around the world—from South Korea and Japan to Italy and Germany—to curate resources that perfectly match the artistry of your story.
